Yesterday, was the first grade picnic and we had a really good time. The kids and I have really worked hard this year and we deserved a break. Here is some proof of our good time. This is Destany and I. She is my special needs child and I love her so much. She wanted so badly to play with the other children, so we got her on the tire swing and she loved it! These are the days that make me heart smile. Isn't she the cutest kid?The whole group of kids was really really good. I took Joey as a chaperone and they were totally amazed. I go to church with one of my students and he told the class "Mr. Joey won't spank you, but he'll get you when you're praying!". I thought I would pee myself when he said it. So that was my leverage with the kids. Mr. Joey will get you if you don't behave. They would immediately stop what they would doing and behave. It was so funny.
It was a good day and I was so tired when I got home. Joey was tired too and sunburned! It was really cool.
