I haven't been on my blog in a long while because Hannah and I have been running like wild women ever since we got back from Nashville. We are getting in all those summer appointments that are pushed aside during the school year, not to mention Hannah is going to summer camp three days a week and we are now taking nightly walks with Gaga and/or my friend Laura.
Just to run down a few of the items that have taken place lately, last week Hannah took her IQ test and scored in the 94th percentile, which amazed her Mama. On Saturday Hannah danced her little heart out at her receital. She worked so hard and did such a great job. Gaga even brought her flowers at the end of the program and her Granny and Paw came to watch her dance for the first time.
Sunday we went to our cousin Jameson's first birthday party. As you can see he loves Hannah very much. (I tried to crop the picture and screwed it up.)
Joey even got some celebrity time because Emily, Jameson's mom, used a picture Joey took to put on Jameson's birthday cake.
This week has been filled with more appointments and Tuesday was Hannah's Kindergarten Screening. She scored a 97.5% on her Brigance with 60 to 75 being the average score span and 8 out of 10 on her speech/language test with 5-7 being average. So needless to say we are very excited. Today Hannah and I both had appointments in Memphis and we tried to do a little school shopping which didn't go so well with a cranky five year old, and tomorrow will be our day of rest and relaxation. Friday Hannah heads to camp and I'm going to Memphis with Hazel and Aunt Nancy, Saturday morning I am going to Eads, TN with Emily, Jameson, and Hannah and then it is off to meet Uncle Trai and Aunt Kodi.
So, there you have it. I haven't fallen off the face of the Earth quite yet. I am just busy as all get out. I am actually doing the park thing with Hannah too. I have had a good time. Tomorrow morning we are going to go swim and then we'll see.

Yeah, the Omish look runs through the family. His whole family looks alike. It is so crazy.
